UX Design project

As a part of UX Design course, I worked on the end-to-end product design of a mobile solution designed to alleviate the cognitive load of daily meal preparation for busy families. Recognizing that parents often struggle with decision fatigue, I created an ecosystem that transforms the chaotic dinner rush into a streamlined process.

The application features a smart suggestion engine that personalizes meal plans based on dietary goals and existing pantry inventory. This is supported by an intuitive interface that integrates step-by-step cooking guides with automated grocery list generation.

The Design Process:

  • Phase 1: Discovery & Research: Conducted user research to identify pain points and validate the problem space.

  • Phase 2: Strategy & IA: Defined the MVP features, constructed the Information Architecture, and mapped key user flows to ensure a seamless experience.

  • Phase 3: Interaction Design: Executed low-fidelity wireframing for concept validation followed by high-fidelity prototyping for final visual polish.

I also optimized the Beltone website’s user experience by restructuring content and refining feature functionality to align with user-centric design principles. Through a detailed analysis of current workflows, I identified and eliminated unnecessary interaction steps, effectively reducing friction and cognitive load. This initiative transformed the existing interface into a streamlined, intuitive environment that allows users to access information and achieve their goals with significantly greater efficiency.
